We designed this style (copyrighted) therapy pack to wrap up around the neck and across the shoulders and upper back. It took us a while to design this because it seemed like all other styles either covered the neck and not the shoulders/upper back or the other way around.
The NSB comes in 3 sizes - Because each one is handmade, all sizes and weight are approximate.
Standard Size 25" x 12" / 11 sections / 3 lbs
Large (pictured) 28" x 16" / 14 sections / 3.5 lbs
XL 28" x 22" / 20 sections / 4.5 lbs
The NSB microwavable heat pad is filled with rice and flax.
Just 1 to 2 minutes in the microwave delivers 30+ minutes of warm moist heat. A few hours in the freezer turns it into a cold pack.
Your NSB therapy pack will come neatly packaged with detailed directions. Please note that fabric pattern placement may vary slightly from the photo.

Can you include a gift note?
Absolutely! Just let us know what you would like it to say in the special instructions during checkout.
What are your packs filled with?
We use a combination of rice and flax seed as we find this the best combination for both heat retention and moist heat.
Do you use synthetic scents?
Absolutely not! When requesting lavender or chamomile, please know that we use only real flower buds and essential oils, never synthetic scents.
If I want unscented, does it truly have no scent?
We add no additional scents when unscented is chosen. You may encounter a faint scent of cooked rice when heating your pack. It is mild and has been compared to baked bread.
How long does it take to heat the pack?
Since microwaves vary in wattage, there is no absolute set time. Detailed directions are adhered to the product packaging.
How cold do they get when used as cold packs?
Our packs will feel nice and cool, but they will not be ice cold like a gel pack. We recommend using the fleece side when using as a hot pack and the cotton side as a cold pack.
How do I care for my heat pack?
Use a very damp cloth to spot clean the outside, even using a fabric spray cleaner when necessary. Do not submerge in water. A pack is automatically sanitized each time it is microwaved.
How long will my heating pad last?
If well taken care of, our hot cold packs should last for several years at least.

Excellent craftsmanship, matched description, it’s exactly what I wanted. The weight is subtle and cozy. Perfect size for my neck and shoulders. Easy to use, instructions were spot on. Now, my husband wants one!

I love this pack so much! It has great fabric options and it's very comfy. Of course it also works amazingly, it can take a few runs to warm up, probably cus I'm not putting it in for long enough, but it gets very warm. When I pulled it out of the freezer it was super cold and it helped my pain so much. I love not having to worry about electric fires compared to electric heating pads.

the heating pad is well constructed. however the instructions state it only needs to be microwaved for 30 sec at a time- for me, this thing doesn’t get hot unless i microwave it for close to 3 minutes. it stays warm for about 20 minutes, which is shorter than i had hoped. i will likely search for an electric alternative.
